Day 13 of Prayer
Ruth 1: 16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
I had no idea what was ahead for me and did not know for sure why He gave me this verse but in July of 2016 I told the Lord, "where you go I will follow." God was already aligning things up and this is my journey and how I prayed through it.
My niece was adopted into an amazing family and has also adopted me into their family. Nicole (I call her my sister) reached out to me , she had been following me on FB and my posts were about how I felt my life was falling apart, and how I was not happy. She asked me to come visit and see if health coaching would be something I would like to do. So this is where the prayer came in.
I sought the Lord and he opened the door for me to come and visit. I came down in August 2016 from Michigan and spent 4 days here. I fell in love with Georgia and what my sister offered in health and wellness. She awoke some dreams that I had allowed to be buried, thinking I would never achieve them. Her husband Josh and her offered for me to come live with them, they would guide me on how to get out of debt and get on my own. I was blown away, I kept remembering the verse and what I said to the Lord "where you go I will follow"
For 4 months I would go in my prayer room and pray for God's guidance and direction, I journaled everything. In those 4 months, I was not feeling like I was hearing from God that this is something He wanted me to do, but still felt I needed to continue to pray for solid answers. I felt I was in a "wait" season, and oh how we don't like to wait. He spoke to me and I wrote it in my journal.....
Trust me my love, I will open doors for you, you need to sit and wait, continue to look to me during this time. I am preparing the path for you. Don't rush ahead. You are my daughter, and I will show you when the time is right. Follow my steps, follow my lead, not yours, not anyone else's, just mine. you have so many questions, I have the answers. You need to be patient so I can prepare you for those answers. I have a blessed time and place for you my April and you will shine.
Trust me
Listen for me
Look for me
Seek me
You are doing just what I asked, don't give up don't worry about the timeline it's in MY hands and MY timeline. It will all fall into place. Go and love and trust me with the plans I have for you.
WOW! I still am blown away at that. He heard my prayers, he saw my tears, he knew my fears. I was beginning to see that He was SO real and heard my prayers. It energized me to continue to have my quiet time with Him every morning.
One morning I went into my prayer room and asked Him to “blow the doors open and blow me away with your provisions” if this is what He wanted for me. He showed me that day the start of the doors being blown open! Again I would go in my prayer room and thank Him and ask again. There were so many obstacles to go through, but He provided every avenue along the way. When my Hallelujah was tired, He gave me a new song.
I persisted in my prayer time with God, and again He spoke to me….
Continue to be patient, there is SO much more to come, let me lead, listen and trust me, i will provide for you, you just have to trust!
Stay focused on me and give me your thoughts and your heart. Continue to trust me through this process, I still have so much more for you.
I am here April I am not going to leave you. You will not fail, keep trusting me. Keep holding my hand and keep your focus on my eyes, on My plan not yours. Don’t let Satan deter you. You are MY CHILD and I will carry you through to the plans that I have, plans to prosper you and not to harm you Jeremiah 29:11
Psalm 37: 23-24
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, the will never fail, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
1 John 5:14
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Psalm 17:6 I call on you, my God, for you will answer me: turn your ear to me and hear my prayer
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God
He wants us to come to Him, in complete rawness, be real with your requests and be persistent in prayer, never give up because He has a story for you as He did for me.
Where you go, I will follow…………….
