The Old Testament closes with an emphasis on reconciliation between the generations (Malachi 4:5-6), and the New Testament opens with an emphasis in the same direction (Luke 1). At Dwelling Place Church, we want to facilitate a reconciliation of the generations by offering you the opportunity to participate in an intergenerational retreat on Friday, August 11 - Saturday, August 12, at our facility in Woodstock.
This intergenerational (middle school-senior adults) retreat will be held 6:00-9:30 p.m. on Friday, August 11, and 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 12. The cost is $10 per person. Snacks will be provided on Friday. Lunch and snacks will be provided on Saturday. Childcare will not be available for this event.
The goal of this weekend is to provide intergenerational relationship opportunities to connect the generations. This weekend will be a time of worship, teaching, fun, food, and fellowship, including small group discussion, expert panels, and individual interaction facilitate opportunities for mentoring and spiritual parenting.
