The world around us suggests that good and evil can exist without God. Isn’t there a logical contradiction between evil and an all-powerful, good God? Does God really have morally justified reasons for temporarily allowing the existence of evil in the world? God certainly can’t be concerned with our suffering. Does the problem of evil assume an objective, moral standard, implying a good and personal God?
